Biography

Lorna moved to Nashville in July 2004 after 9 years of coming over 3 times a year and building a network of great writer, publisher and artist connections. Lorna writes mostly in the country, pop and rock genres and has have had 70+ cuts worldwide, including four #1 songs, several “Best Song” and “Best Single” nominations in the UK Country Radio Awards between 1998 and 2002 and won the ‘Listeners’ Choice’ award in 2004 and Song of the Year in 2008.

Name co-writers include : Roger Cook, Bob Welch, John Peppard, Bridgette Tatum, Kirsti Manna, Keith Burns, Bernie Nelson, Arlos Smith, Joie Scott, Karen Staley, Jon Robbin, Brian White, Benita Hill, Steve Dean, Jim Femino, Dwight Liles, Kathy Chiavola, Daisy Dern. Etc.

Lorna has performed in UK/Europe on tours and festivals with Charley Pride, Gail Davies, George Hamilton V, Rivers Rutherford and others and performs in the US as a solo songwriter. In 2012 she made her debut on the prestigious Pensacola and Frank Brown International songwriter festivals and has been invited back to play other shows in 2013 in those areas, as a result of those performances.

BRIDGETTE TATUM (2 cuts on her debut CD); #1 hit writer (“She’s Country” – Jason Aldean”) Bridgette is also an artist in her own right.

KATHY CHIAVOLA       – “I Wouldn’t Be Here” – world renowned Bluegrass artist cut this song on her “Somehow” album, receiving worldwide critical acclaim.

KARLI WHETSTONE (“I’m Having A Good Day”) – charted/over 1000 spins per week and reached top 30.
